Details:

I am selling a 2004 Yamaha 300hp hpdi outboard motor model number Z300TXRC standard 25 shaft length . Note: the top of cowling has a small crack which is purely cosmetic and does not affect anything. Motor checks out in good running order with 115lbs on all cylinders which is perfect for this model and has never been rebuilt or taken apart.

If you are looking for a solid running Yamaha 300 hpdi then don't pass on this motor it won't disappoint. Motor or the lower unit was replaced with a left hand rotation by previous owner.

Note: the motor alone with no rigging, propeller or controls being sold in this listing to keep price as low possible for those who are updating from an older two stroke and all ready have prop. Motor for the mid and west coast of us. I still have Yamaha controls, gauges and all wiring harnesses, remote oil tank for this motor. Tilt and trim works fine lower unit is free of water contamination or metal shavings.

Motor only has low 994 hours. The motor uses same controls and prop from an older two stroke Yamaha 1998 to current model year. Motor has power tilt and trim.
