Details:

See pix 3 the other issue is starter bracket. I have a new one,but decided it was too big job for me. This is a two cylinder,two stroke long shaft motor.

A bracket was added,and it started okay,but is not reliable. This had been poorly welded and broke. See pix 4 this engine is complete and runs well.

Electric start,with tiller control when last checked,the compression was 125psi there are two issues with the motor. Up for sale is a complete 40 hp Mercury 402 kiekaefer outboard motor. The water jacket needs to be replaced.
