Gear oil has been inspected and shows no signs of water intrusion or excessive metal shavings on magnetic drain screw. Overall a very nice lower unit for your application. This lower unit has been tested and shifts nice smooth in Forward, Reverse neutral. This unit was removed from a running motor that lost compression and parted out.
