Probably wouldn hurt to put new decals on it. The cowl is missing the port side decal and back 225hp. There are very small and minor imperfections that hardly notice. The starboard side decal is coming up a little bit on the back and Optimax part also.

The top of the cowl does have a scratch. Please look at the pictures. However the cowl itself and paint is in excellent shape. This Cowl came off of a 2003 Mercury 225 hp 3.0 L Optimax.
