I am selling this for a friend who became frustrated by project. This is a block from an early 70s 50hp Mercury. Eventually he figured out there was rat damage to the electrical system or something like that, but did not want deal with it any more. The lower unit is also for sale.

The powerhead has decent compression, about 130 psi on all 4 cylinders when cranked.
