There are no cracks, breaks, welds, or helix-coils on this power head. This is a very nice freshwater only assembly. Compression is good in both cylinders, the top cylinder had 145 psi and bottom 140 when we checked them. The motor this part was removed from a 1985 Mercury 35 hp with serial number is oa965398.
This power head assembly is in excellent working condition. The reciprocating assembly is nice and tight, there no sign of this motor ever being overheated. It was removed from a running outboard that only used in freshwater.
