You can see the keg has a bit of who-haw in it but, doesn't appear to have hurt anything. Unit came from a 1984, 70hp, not sure if the salt, or just plain old corrosion, got to paint but, as you can see in pic's, somethings been eating away at it, worry though, I drained oil and pressure tested it holds 15lb's. If you want it to look Purdue, a little DA and hand sanding along with can of zinc phosphate Johnson white or, eventide blue, would make big difference I didn't check the impeller might be good idea pop in new one. Boat broke mooring and came ashore on a sandy beach but, motor was tilted up so damage limited mostly to the power head which is full of sand and, seized tight.

It does shift properly and spins smoothly no rough spots or funky bearing growling its full of new, high performance gear lube and, should just bolt up go.
